My sister and I started on a photo project that will make PLANKING obsolete.. or maybe just outdated. LOL. :))
What is LevieJiko?
‘Levi’ means to levitate, while ‘Jiko’ is the Japanese term for “oneself.” This mini project consists of levitation shots. We were inspired by the levitation photography of Ms. Natsumi Hayashi. Amazed and challenged, we decided to try it ourselves! ;)
This definitely requires much EFFORT and PRECISION. But hey, we’re up for it! :D
Watch out for my future posts! :)

Inside the Lingayen Capitol.
Built in the neo-classical style favored during the American colonial period and considered one of the architectural treasures of the country, the capitol building was originally built and inaugurated in 1918 and then reconstructed in 1949 after it was severely damaged during the pre-landing bombardment on January 9, 1945 by the American troops in Lingayen Gulf during the Second World War. Skim boarding! :”>
Yes. That’s me. :) It was my first time Skim boarding.
Skimboarding is a boardsport in which a skimboard (a smaller counterpart to a surfboard) is used to glide across the water’s surface. Unlike surfing, skimboarding begins on the beach, it starts with the dropping of the board onto the thin wash of previous waves. Skimboarders may use their momentum to ‘skim’ out to breaking waves, which they then catch back into shore in a manner similar to surfing. Skimboarding originated in Southern california when lifeguards wanted an easy way to get across the beaches of Laguna. From here skimboarding went as a way to travel down beaches to extreme riding into big shorebreak. (Wikipedia)
At first I was scared to try because I heard previously from a friend that skimboarding has a lot of accidents than surfing. But after pumping myself with courage and made numerous attempts to ride the board, I made few succesful rides! I guess it helps when you have a background in sports and a bit of adrenaline rush. :)
